One to go.
Today was English literature. Two long hours of it. I think it went alright, although I hate a fair few of the texts. Still, got to answer the main question on Thomas Fabulous Hardy.
Media tomorrow. Oh God. Not much I can do about that.
And then.
It'll all be over (for this year, anyhow).
So I will hopefully have something more interesting to say. As it is, I am curled up on the sofa, cup-a-soup in one hand, watching Luther (I bloody love detective programmes). It's barely summer yet, but somehow watching this makes me wish it was winter again. And I wish I was by the river Thames, with my coat and hat. And my friends. And George. I've had an absolutely phemomenal lack of social life over the past month. Still, end of exams will be immediately followed by mammoth shopping trips and Hayley's birthday piss up. And a haircut at last.

Anyway, Luther is fabulous (and has a fabulous theme tune), I have nothing more to say here, so here's some Stratovarius. Rock n' roll is a fabulous thing.

Of wii failings and curls

My brother has been thrashing me at Formula 1 racing on the Wii. If I were actually controlling the cars, Heikki Kovalainen would never be the same again.

I've been attempting to curl my hair recently. I don't know if "successful" is the way I'd describe it, but it's definetely getting there.

Currently I'm watching Corpse Bride, which is pretty cool.

George is back in the country at last, but with a hefty bill from texting me whilst in New Zealand... oops!

It was the last EVER episode of Doctor Who with David Tennant as the lead role. I nearly cried my eyes out.

I'm seeing family tomorrow, and getting remaining Christmas presents. In the meantime, I would like to express that I love Pekka Heino's voice. (Music Junkiness?)

Of parklife and haircuts

Sorry for the lack of posts of late (not that anyone reads this anyway) but I've been preeeetty busy.

So, the last week.

Monday

New hair. It's a lot shorter than it was... I'm hopefully putting black lowlights in it sometime soon. Also went shopping and bought some summery clothes. 

Tuesday

I've actually completely forgotten... can't be that important then I guess!

Wednesday

Went up to Camden avec Emi and Aly. Spent an amazingly small amount of money since it was too hot to stay there for too long. I did spend like a tenner on bottles of orange juicesunglasses. Emi nearly got her eyes poked out with a pizza box, we nearly though. And I bought some suffocated on the tube and we got attacked by a werewolf (NO JOKE) but it was a good day.

 

Thursday

I went to see Blur live at Hyde Park! It was one of their first gigs in about six years,come off hiatus, and they were amazing! They played they've only just all the classics and some of the lesser known songs too. We all went completely bonkers when songs like Song 2 and Parklife came on! And to top it all off, I actually remembered the camera, so there are actually some relatively decent quality videos from it!

So yeah, it's been a great week! Even the weather cheered up!

Of summer plans and end of eras

My exams are officially OVER. I had physics today (and I think it went really well), and now I'm officially in the summer holidays! (They start early for my year.) I have work experience soon, but other than that, I get to do f*ck all until 15th August when my family and I are going on holiday to Spain.

Hmm... I'm a little unsure what to do with myself now. Over summer, I plan to do the following things:

.Get another set of ear piercings 

.Get highlights done 

.Go Camden-ing with Emi

.Have a birthday picnic!
.Write some music to go with lyrics 

.Give up several bad habits
.See Blur! (2nd July here I come!)
.Get my exam results... somehow or other (I'm away on results day)
.And... various other things. (Hayley and I have plans to have a teapot decorating session!)
.Get the band started up
